Tajika Haruo Ironworks is made of father and son team, Haruo the 3rd and Daisuke Tajika. The Tajika family has been producing handcrafted scissors in Japan for over four generations. Such practices of passing traditions from one generation to the next are increasingly difficult to find and are on the list of endangered species in the world of Japanese crafts.
