A master of embroidery, metalworking and storytelling Suzanne Carlsen has been awarded noteworthy scholarships throughout Ontario institutions and exhibits her work in museums and galleries throughout Canada. She has a contemporary sort of hand stitch with a bit of a jeweler's touch. Illustrations are embroidered upon classically patterned fabrics, while some elements are lined with sterling silver and can be worn as a brooch.
