This cup is a fine example of Dustin's Soda Fire technique. Each piece is wheel thrown from porcelain, and fired in a kiln in which the addition of ash and wood melts into various layers of the clay itself. Dustin creates a unique Seal Skin finish, known for a blue gray color and subtle texture quality.
Due to the nature of the material, surface hue and finishes appreciate over time.
