During our trip to Japan we met the master Omae san, who designs Shima Moyo ware in the Nagashigake style. Each piece is wheel thrown from a local brown clay body, and delicately finished with stripes of yellow glaze. Admire from front to back, both sides are equally appealing in color and texture.

Crafted exclusively for Ashes & Milk, a traditional wood box was especially made to hold this piece.
