Wool is embroidered upon wool, forming a velvety moleskin texture. A purple horizon emerges from a gray landscape. The detail extends to the selvage and is finished with a delicate overhand stitch.
Oerom 14 is a one of kind tapestry, hand stitched and embroidered by the hands of Danish textile artist Anette Blaesbjerg Orom.
We are offering Oerom 14 as a framed pieced, encased in a museum quality wood shadow box behind Plexiglas. The piece is mounted on white archival board and framed with a 4.5" gray mat.
