Reminiscent of graph paper, threads of pink and yellow cotton are interwoven into the structure of a white cloth. Soft modulations of maroon navigate the fabric forming a digital yet organic pathway. The selvage is finished with a delicate overhand stitch and framed on three sides with a black filament.
Oerom 1 is a one of kind tapestry, hand stitched and embroidered by the hands of Danish textile artist Anette Baesbjerg Orom.
We are offering Oerom 1 as a framed pieced, encased in a museum quality wood shadow box behind Plexiglas. The piece is mounted on white archival board and framed with a 4.5" gray mat.
