In response to a MRI brain scan taken while hospitalized, artist Lee Tracy created an installation of thirty-five Cerebral Light Boxes which were exhibited at the International Museum of Surgical Science in Chicago. Depending on the location of the brain scan, the image will vary slightly in hue from warm to cool.
The etching It Is All So Amazing is a quote from Lee's journal written during her recovery.
We are offering Light Box No.30 exclusively at Ashes & Milk as a limited edition. Each piece is signed and numbered by the artist.
The wood frame has a black satin finish and includes mounting hardware, a black cord and hand switch.
