Cups with Something to Say:

Dustin's cups are gracefully minimal in appearance, rich in content, with something to say. Each piece is hand thrown from porcelain, with the exterior surface left unfinished to a fine texture, onto which words are placed. The print and surface treatment is Dustin's signature technique, as is the narrative context of each piece.

The artists explains, "I deserve this might mean an urge to buy, rewarding oneself with a small cup. It might mean I've earned this extra cup of wine, or that in fact I only deserve the leftover cocktail from last night's party, a punishment in a glass."
